Print the QR cards
Generate and print one QR per room. Stick it on the wall. It stays there for the life of the project.
Trades scan and submit
When a trade arrives, they scan the QR, see the spec, do the work, snap a photo, and submit. Done.

Is TradeCue really free?
Yes. During early access, every feature is free with no usage limits. We're focused on building the right product for residential builders before we charge for it.
What happens when paid plans launch?
Early access users who are actively using TradeCue will get a permanent founder discount on Pro. You won't lose access to anything you're already using.
Do my trades need to create accounts?
No. Trades scan a QR code and see the spec. They submit completions with a photo — no account, no app install, no training. That's the whole point.
How many projects can I run?
Unlimited during early access. When paid plans launch, the free tier will still include at least one active project.
Is my data secure?
All data is stored on Cloudflare's global network (D1 for project data, R2 for photos). Authentication is handled by Clerk. IP addresses on public scans are hashed and cannot be reversed.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Your project data, step history, and audit trail are always exportable. We'll never hold your data hostage.
What kind of projects does TradeCue work for?
TradeCue is built for residential construction — custom homes, remodels, multi-unit builds. Any project where multiple trades cycle through rooms on a schedule. It's not designed for commercial high-rise or civil engineering.
Do I need special QR codes?
No. TradeCue generates standard QR codes you can print on any label printer, card stock, or laminated sheet. They link to a permanent URL that TradeCue re-points as work progresses.
